H.E. Dr. Obaid Khalifa Al Zaabi’s academic path began with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Cairo University, followed by a diploma in Diplomatic Relations in Switzerland, a Master’s in International Relations in the United States, and a PhD in Political Science from Egypt.
That foundation shaped a 28-year career at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he served as Ambassador to Yemen, Germany and Kuwait.
H.E. Dr. Al Zaabi also holds a personal real estate portfolio spanning hospitality, commercial and residential assets across the UAE, Lebanon and Egypt. Under his guidance, OBK Investment Group and its subsidiaries have grown steadily since inception.
A graduate in Business Management from the American University of Dubai and CEO of OBK Investment Group LLC. He draws on experience as Business Development Manager, Middle East and North Africa, at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels & Resorts, and has a particular interest in luxury cruise yachts.
An Electronics Technology graduate from Coventry University, UK, with an MBA from a Canadian university. He serves as a Major in the UAE Ministry of Interior.
One of the UAE’s prominent legal figures, holding a Bachelor’s in Law from Dubai Police Academy and a Master’s in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne. He is an external legal advisor to Abu Dhabi Global Market and previously held senior legal roles at DIFC, including Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Commercial and Disputes.
